WVSOM -Create An Impact

Help When the Unexpected Strikes

The everyday lives of our future health care workers are challenging. Course work, volunteering, labs, medical service trips…it’s a very hectic life, precariously scheduled. Unexpected changes in their health, financial status or housing situation could potentially impact their career path. We want to be there when the unexpected happens to our students. Thanks to you, we are.

The WVSOM Foundation’s Student Emergency Fund exists to provide urgent and immediate financial assistance to students of WVSOM who experience unforeseen personal emergencies that are not directly related to their medical education, but could impact their ability to successfully continue their studies.

Anjali’s story in the video below is just one example of how your gift to the Student Emergency Fund can help a student in an urgent time of need. Call 304-647-6374 today for more details.
